My story- The FlowArts community gave me a great gift. Growing up as a serious Ballet and Modern concert dancer we'd rehearse 12 hours a week at times. After grade school I graduated from that community and lost dance for 2 whole years. We are all made to move, humans are not meant to be stagnant. One day I picked up a hula hoop and with it came a whole new family I could dance with. It's been 5 years since I found my new home in a hula hoop. I now manipulate Multi-Hoops, Fire Fans, Buugeng, and a number of other Flow-Toys. I teach Hoop Dance classes at local arts festivals in the summer here in Lansing. I have the ability to teach Therapeutic Movement, and Dance classes. I also perform with fire and without fire. It'd be a pleasure to share the world of FlowArts with you.
I’m an aerialist acrobat. I perform suspended gymnastics on my 20’ aerial tripod. More importantly I teach beginner aerial silks for all ages. Insured and certified through New England Center for Circus Arts. Aerial silks are self empowering and confidence building. I find passion in lifting spirits through lifting bodies.
